Find Your Purpose with Hypnotherapy

I love my job. I am immensely blessed to feel excitement and gratitude each day, as I prepare to use hypnosis to help people in my community overcome the limitations and obstacles they face on their way to the life of their dreams. People who knew me twenty years ago would never associate this sentiment with me. Love work? Ha! As hard as I worked and as much pride as I took in my performance, I wasn’t thrilled with my role in the insurance industry. As a trainer, I would occasionally find solace in helping a new agent find a way to earn real money for their family. I loved teaching and helping others, but the industry and schedule – not so much. Thankfully, I found another way.

There’s a bit of irony woven into the story.

It was a sales position at a progressive company that found me sitting in a conference room for an entire week, absorbing every single word of The Phoenix Seminar, created by Brian Tracy. Two things happened here: first, I was introduced to the empowering art of self-hypnosis, and second, I realized my passion wasn’t selling other people’s products for profit – a revelatory experience that has influenced my entire household.

The Many Powers of Hypnosis
Not long after the seminar, I was visiting a hypnotist to help me sleep. I was in the grip of severe insomnia and hadn’t slept in seven days. I needed help, and I was utterly shocked at the effectiveness of this medication-free treatment path. Once again, my life was forever changed through the power of hypnosis. I began my certification course immediately, and I’ve never looked back.

Today, as my passion for hypnosis continues to grow, I turn to the next chapter: training other hypnotists. There have been so many advancements and contributions to the process of induction and treatment that hypnosis is now a viable healing modality for almost anyone, across a wide range of issues.

Licensed professionals commonly use hypnosis in a therapeutic or medical setting – police officers for regression of witnesses, corporate trainers, and, of course, certified hypnotists assisting people with everything from weight loss, smoking cessation, anxiety, professional and athletic performance, fears and phobias, and many other critical, life-altering changes.

I’ve been able to work with people of all ages, dealing with things I’d never have imagined. Yes, many incredible weight loss journeys and many people leaving nicotine addiction behind, but also helping people regain the ability to walk in post op rehab centers, helping Parkinson’s patients mitigate or eliminate tremors, assisting people to get on a plane for the first time in decades…Knowing I’ve played a small part in people changing their lives is the greatest reward I’ve ever received from any position I’ve ever held.

See for Yourself
The New England Institute of Hypnosis has created the nation’s most comprehensive

The successful completion of this course satisfies the certification requirements of all fifty states and will prepare you to use hypnosis in any capacity that you wish. Clinical psychologists, first responders, corporate trainers, and individuals seeking a rewarding additional income stream or a complete career change are all a perfect fit for this course.

This is a ten-week program, beginning November 4 (orientation is October 28), and will be offered quarterly. If you’re in a related field, the investment is a no-brainer. If you’re frustrated with your current position and enjoy meeting new people and helping them get past the issues that plague them, this may be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for. You can wake up in the morning and know that you’re going to help people experience substantive change in their lives, and you won’t have to go back to school for half a decade
