The Natural Nutmeg Networking list-serve is a free service provided to Hartford Area natural health practitioners. This service is absolutely free. If you are unfamiliar with list-serves, here is how they work: A list serve allows you to draft one e-mail message and send it to many individuals. It is especially useful for "like-minded" discussions. Only people registered on the list serve are allowed to send messages to the list. When you post a message, everyone subscribed gets a copy (including yourself). Subscribers may choose whether to receive email messages as they are posted or to receive a daily "digest" which compiles all messages posted the previous day into one email message.
To keep this list-serve useful and "on-topic", we request that subscribers try to adhere to these simple guidelines:
- Please stay as closely as possible to topics having to do with natural health.
- Please avoid hotbed topics such as politics and religion (including metaphysics).
- Please do not scold one another for making mistakes (take it off-list by e-mailing each other privately).
- We don't discourage plugging our businesses in the course of discussion. After all, the purpose of this list is to get to know one another and network our businesses. However, a free flow of knowledge and ideas should be in the forefront.
- To unsubscribe, please use the link found at the bottom of each e-mail message, or contact us off-list. Don't post to the list asking to be removed.
Tip:
Make good use of your subject headings.
- Use the subject line of your post to describe the topic you are posting a question or tidbit about. This way, subscribers can delete messages they have no interest in without opening them.
- Reply to a post using your reply button. This will keep the conversation or "thread" going.
- Please don't reply to a post if you are trying to start a new topic. Start a fresh e-mail message with its own unique topic in the subject heading line.
